Accuracy matters more than preserving old wording. Material errors should be corrected promptly and transparently.
What counts as a correction
A correction is appropriate when a factual claim, rule, formula, date, definition or materially important explanation is wrong or no longer current. Minor copy edits that do not change meaning are handled as normal editing.
How we handle material updates
For a material change—such as a regulatory rule that has been replaced—we update the affected page and try to preserve enough context that readers understand the current rule and any relevant transition period.
Report an issue
If you identify a factual problem, include the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong and, if possible, the primary source that supports the correction. This site currently does not present a public newsroom inbox, so contact details will be added when a dedicated editorial address is established.
