What we publish
AboutDayTrading.com is an educational reference site. We publish explanations of market mechanics, risk management, trading terminology, practice tools and learning guides. We do not publish individualized trade recommendations or claims of guaranteed returns.
Our editorial principles
- Risk before promotion: material risks and limitations belong in the explanation, not hidden in fine print.
- Primary sources first: regulatory or market-rule claims should be checked against regulators, exchanges, official broker disclosures or original research where practical.
- Separate fact from convention: common trading rules of thumb are identified as conventions rather than universal laws.
- No invented certainty: probabilities, performance claims and causal explanations require evidence.
- Update-sensitive topics are dated: margin, settlement, regulation and broker practices can change.
Financial content review
Pages involving rules, account requirements or market structure receive extra scrutiny because inaccurate information can affect financial decisions. We distinguish educational examples from recommendations and link to official sources when a reader should verify a current rule.
Commercial relationships
If the site later uses affiliate relationships or sponsorships, commercial relationships should be disclosed clearly and should not determine the educational conclusion of an article or comparison.
